They understand the importance of your event - almost all of them have rented ATHC for their own celebrations and activities and they work within the spaces during Heritage Acton fundraisers and other special events. Tips for Making the Most of Your Rental Space

Here's some planning tips to consider if you're new to the Hall and have taken your tour. Especially helpful for wedding parties!

• Plan Your Layout in Advance

Sketch out seating or activity zones so you can visualize flow and use of the space(s).

• Use Decorations Wisely

Simple touches like flowers or banners can transform your atmosphere for very little money.

• Leverage Technology

Our volunteers will go over our AV & lighting options to ensure your experience is technologically sound.

• Communicate with Venue Staff

Our volunteers will send you relevant information, such as rental requirements, entry and exit procedures, and contracts you need beforehand so there's no surprises. We encourage all newcomers to consult our FAQ page before requesting a booking or sending questions.

• Consider Guest Experience

We help with permanent signage - our characterful building has a couple of shortcuts that we have marked for optimum navigation! We have many locations and an easel to borrow for your event signage. Our building has fully accessible washrooms and a gorgeous art deco style elevator to whisk your service providers and guests to the second floor when stairs are not an option for them.
